An association established in 1975

Bunts’ Sangha Pune gives 1975 as its year of establishment. Its public presence now centres on Buntara Bhavana in Baner, near the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway. The venue provides a recognisable meeting point for a community spread across the city. The association website also separates information about membership and activities from hall bookings, making the Bhavana both a community setting and a facility with its own enquiry process.

Education and social welfare

The Sangha’s activity record includes a Kalpavruksha Social Welfare and Education Aid Distribution Programme held with Aatida Onji Koota on 1 August 2026. Earlier that year, it published an invitation for education-aid applications from eligible members facing financial difficulty. These notices show assistance being organised through named programmes and application rounds. They should be read with their dates: a previous distribution or application announcement does not establish that funding is available at every point in the year.

Several routes into community life

The official activity pages distinguish the Mahila Vibhag, Youth Wing and North, South, East and West regional committees. Recent entries record a youth tree-planting drive, a women’s Haldi Kumkum gathering and a Talamaddale programme. This range gives members ways to participate beyond the annual gathering. The annual report also records youth sport and contact with other Bunts organisations, including the separately named Pimpri-Chinchwad Sangha. The two local associations should therefore remain distinct in searches and correspondence.

Gatherings at Buntara Bhavana

The Sangha’s account of International Yoga Day on 21 June 2025 describes a session at Buntara Bhavana involving members from its regional groups. Alongside the later cultural and welfare entries, it illustrates how the same venue accommodates different kinds of programme. The public contact address is in Baner, and the institution publishes a general email for enquiries. Event attendance, education aid and venue use each depend on their own notice or booking arrangements; membership alone should not be assumed to settle those details.
