Formation and a shared home
The Sangha’s official account records its formation on 26 March 2005. It describes an early emphasis on assistance and village-level organisation, followed by the acquisition of a site for a community building. A foundation ceremony for Buntara Bhavana is recorded on 14 December 2014. The website belongs to the association’s hall and presents the Sangha’s history alongside photographs and booking information.
Bantawalada Buntara Bhavana is the venue; Bunts Sangha Bantwal Taluk is the community organisation. Keeping those identities clear helps explain why a search for the association may lead to a hall website. The site gives Thumbe as its postal locality, while event reporting also uses Brahmarakotlu.
Scholarships through partnership
CSRBOX’s account of Allcargo’s Disha education programme documents a Bantwal collaboration with the Bunts Sangha. At a programme held on 29 September 2024, approximately 1,200 students from the Bunt community and other communities received scholarships. That is a dated example of the local Sangha working with an external education-support initiative.
The wider Disha programme describes assessment of students’ financial and academic circumstances. Its multi-location totals should not be confused with the Bantwal event total. The useful local fact is the partnership itself and the specific distribution recorded in Bantwal.
A programme built by several wings
Daijiworld’s June 2026 report describes Samskruthika Vaibhava at Buntara Bhavana, organised with the women’s wing, youth wing and 15 zonal associations. Zonal teams presented Bantere Kalapantha, while the women’s and youth wings staged separate short comedy productions. The gathering therefore gave local groups a place to prepare and present their own work, rather than simply attend a central ceremony.
Culture alongside assistance
The same June programme included financial assistance distributed by the women’s wing to two beneficiaries and prizes for cultural participants. This combination of performance, volunteering and practical support is a useful introduction to the association. The available record covers specific completed programmes; any scholarship opening or hall booking still belongs to the relevant organiser’s current arrangements.
