The youth association
Kundapura Taluk Yuva Buntara Sangha brings together young members of the Bunt community for social and educational work in the Kundapura region. Its official account emphasises reaching rural families and involving younger members in organised community service. The association is distinct from the older taluk sangha and the Mathr Sangha committee, both of which appear as partners in its records.
The founder’s account traces the idea to discussions in 2009 and says the association took shape and was registered in 2013. Its website also preserves committee pages beginning with the 2013 to 2015 period. This gives the youth organisation its own recorded history within Kundapura’s wider network of sanghas.
Education programmes
Vidya Deevige supports students facing financial barriers to continuing education. The official outreach account describes assistance raised through community donors, including support for students who had lost parents. Its focus is sustained access to study, rather than examination prizes alone.
Prathibha Puraskara is the merit-recognition strand. The association’s website provides separate year-specific selection pages for this and Vidya Deevige. A July 2026 application report described a 95 per cent threshold for SSLC and second PUC applicants to that year’s Prathibha Puraskara programme. The named scheme and year matter because different forms and criteria serve different purposes.
Welfare and health
Two other named initiatives appear in the official outreach record. Mangalyasutra provided marriage assistance to families facing financial difficulty. Arogya Bhagya provided financial help in serious health circumstances. The account gives historical examples, establishing the nature of the work without making its past grants into a fixed present-day payment schedule.
The association also records a blood-donation camp involving the Indian Red Cross blood bank in Kundapura, the local Mathr Sangha and the district AIDS prevention and control unit. This is a collaborative public-service activity, separate from individual financial assistance.
Sport and participation
The official sports pages describe community competitions and cooperation with associations from other localities. Events included throwball and other team sports, with participants and partner organisations recognised alongside the competitions. The sports programme offered another route into the association’s work for members who were not applying for educational or welfare assistance.
The Kannada website remains the organisation’s own public channel for notices and programme records. It brings together the scheme names, activity accounts and dated selection pages that help families identify the appropriate programme.
